Stradivari Milanolo Copy
Here is one of my latest violins finished in January 2010. It is based on the Stradivari Milanollo of 1728. I adopted and new varnish technique for this instrument which will carry on for the next period in my making. This comes from studying many books and adopting different aspects to form a better technique to produce a greater finish of high luster, beauty and transparency in the varnish of which is partly made up of old recipes combined with my own.
The violin is finished with rosewood fitting and Obligato strings
Early reactions from players show it is an excellent violin and has a fabulous tone. This is not one to be missed if you are looking for a new instrument.
